This past weekend I witnessed my dear friend Paul Reynolds take vows for a year to become a consecrated Youth Apostle. By their explanation, "Youth Apostles" is shorthand for the Youth Apostles Institute, a community of men who, with lives singleheartedly focused on and enlightened by Christ's real presence in the Eucharist, share a common call to youth ministry in the Catholic Church. You can read about them here. I used to do youth ministry, music ministry, and even a production of Godspell with some of these men. They are all incredible!

I am so proud of Paul's commitment and it was great to see him and his family!



Surprise plus of the day: I got to meet Mike and Kelly Power's daughter Julie! She decided to be silly and wear a beret!
