Oh Baby

John and I are very excited to announce that we are pregnant!!
After a year of trying, countless prayers, and God's grace and handiwork, our dreams have come true! We were definitely surprised.

I am at 10 weeks, and baby already has a nice heartbeat. The nausea and vomiting hit 2 days after I found out and has been in full force ever since. Unfortunately, things have been at their worst this week, consistent with my peaking hormones. Dr. says it should get better from here...I am holding on to those words and the memory of that heartbeat to get me through. The zofran helps too! At least it gives me good security in knowing the pregnancy is going well.

I am looking forward to the 2nd trimester! almost there...

Due date is October 23. It is my favorite month and we should have a baby just in time for our 3rd Anniversary :)

Life is good.

    so so so excited for you...it will change your life (if it hasn't already!)

    hopefully our gift gets there TODAY...or tomorrow, i guess, seeing as how i live in the middle of nowhere.

    Oh my gosh, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :D I am so excited for you both! Sorry you are dealing with m/s - I had it really bad my first pregnancy and lost 12lbs b/c I couldn't keep anything down for 4 mo. Peppermint tea & gum really help! Hope you feel better soon! Can't wait to see picts! Are yall going to find out the gender or keep it a surprise?

    thanks Laura!! Luckily I have not lost weight. The doc encouraged me to drink fluids as a priority above worrying about getting food down for now and I have been much more hydrated b/c of it. I am living off of ginger ale, tater tots, and fruits/vegetables :) I will have to try the peppermint tea.
    We will be finding out the gender, I like the idea of bonding b/c of knowing and also being prepared clothing wise! I like to be informed ;)
